JULY!

In July we...

went swimming

hung around the house in our mickey ears

did some swinging

had a swim playdate with our friend Elise

went to the zoo with Grandma, Larry, Aunt Jenny, Tristan and Elijah

took a roadtrip to Kentucky

went potty in LOTS of random places along the way

took a lunch break on our picnic blanket in front of Wendy's

wrestled to get some energy out before having to get back in the car

stopped for ice cream at Dairy Queen, of course 

made the trip go quicker by opening presents along the way

(THANK YOU Aunt Allie!)

Finally made it to the Evola's house in 9.5 hours...

just in time to jump in the pool and relax from the long drive.

walked the bridge between Louisville, KY and Jeffersonville, IN

ate lunch at Schimpff's Candy store on the Jeffersonville side

watched them make lemon drops

met up with all our Portland friends for dinner

and rolled down the hill outside after we ate 

(not sure that was a good idea)

had breakfast with Tracy and tried on her glasses

played outside at Grandma's house

and ran up and down her driveway a bunch of times

(one of my favorite childhood memories, by the way)

had lunch at White Castle and 

turned the onion rings into bracelets

drank 2 whole cups of orange soda with hardly any spilling!

shucked the corn for dinner at Grandma's

said goodbye and headed home,

even though we wanted to stay

(nothing is better than being at Grandma's house)

went to Baxter's Bunch with Mason

made cat faces at library story time

went swimming yet again

walked up these slippery stairs independently

played at the farm with Hudson while Ethan was riding

stood up in the stirrups while riding Sammy

fed Sammy a carrot

and met our friends for sno cones at Pelicans

(more than once, I might add)
