In November We...

made cookies with Pop (more than once, actually)

ate breakfast together pretty much every morning

(On this particular morning I put Owen's plate and drink at his place on the table across from Ethan.  He looked over at Ethan, got down from his chair, made a few trips back and forth to move his cup and plate and another chair directly next to Ethan and sat down to eat right next to his brother.)

made a few more trips to United Artisans with our friend, Willie

went shopping at Ikea with cousin Yaya

and then spent the day playing together at Nana's house

had a special Mommy-Daddy-Owen day

and let Mommy take lots of pictures

oh, and my favorite part of the day was splashing water out of my cup

spent at least 30 minutes throwing our mixing bowls around the living room 

and falling on the floor laughing hysterically the entire time

got ourselves dressed up in our hat, mittens...and sun glasses,

because we can't leave our house without them

made turkey hats with our friends at the library

went to the mall to get our picture taken with Santa

had a tea party with our friends Melanie, Lois

and our newest little friend, Aaron

made cousin Anna smile

had a play date with our friends Brinley and Willie -

and spent some time splashing/pouring water on the floor -

- because it was so much fun

and ate a thanksgiving meal with Ethan in his classroom at school!

And in December, so far we've...

picked out and decorated our Christmas tree

our favorite part was watching them use the chainsaw

went on a walk with our neighbors, Chloe and Bryce

had TONS of fun riding Chloe's Big Wheel

and went to Christmasville with our friends Ellen and Hudson 

where we got our face painted like Santa Claus

got our picture taken with a very, very tall man

rode the ferris wheel

and pushed our little brother in the stroller 

ALL the way back to the van

ALL by ourself!

Gotta Love those Leaf Playing, Sweater Wearing Days

We've really been enjoying this fall weather -- 

it means being able to play outside without being attacked by mosquitoes!

Cara and Anna came over one morning to play in the leaves

Owen and our neighbor, Bryce, love playing together.

Whenever we go outside Owen immediately tries to walk over 

to Chloe and Bryce's house to see if they can play.

For some unknown reason, 

Owen likes to put sunglasses on his tummy.

When I posted this pic on facebook a friend said,

"If I could fit sunglasses around my belly, I'd wear them too!"
