We've had a bunch of "firsts" in the past few weeks...
Ethan's first time using a rolling pin
while playing with clay at Nana's house
Owen's first time feeding a baby
(well, it wasn't a real baby, but he was practicing
so he could help with Anna one day)
Anna's first time eating at a restaurant - Bubba's BBQ
Hudson's first time eating ice cream from a cone
first time sitting on a pig for all these kids
Ethan's first time using chop sticks
I took Ethan out for a special date to Jason's Deli and
Discovery Place Kids so we could have some quality alone time
before starting his FIRST day of kindergarten in a few weeks
First time watching remote control boats on the lake at the park
Owen loved watching them speed across the water
Ethan's first time sleeping only 1.5 hours at night (for his sleep-deprived EEG)
He's had 2 other sleep-deprived EEGs, but slept 3 hours the night before each of them.
This is Ethan playing with his IPAD, which is how we kept him awake.
It still took him 45 minutes to fall asleep when we got there!
crazy hair from all the goo on the end of the electrodes
Our first time at MJ's Donuts in Pineville
We took Ethan as a treat after the EEG,
but he was so tired he didn't want to eat.
He just drank 2 juice boxes and said he wanted to go home.
Not our first time playing with our neighbors Chloe & Bryce,
but it had been so long it felt like the first time again.
The mosquitoes have been so bad because of all the rain,
that we haven't had many opportunities to bump into each other outside.
The boys were both SO excited to see them.
My first time seeing Ethan do yoga
Ethan has done yoga with Lindsey a few times during his therapy sessions,
but this was my first time watching.
Ms. Lindsey made copies of the yoga cards for me,
and since then we've done it a few times at home and he loves it!
Owen's first time jumping on the bridge
He is always pretty timid about walking on the bridges at various playgrounds,
but I guess our friends Alex & Luke gave him the confidence to jump this time!
Ethan's first time holding sweet Anna
Ethan's first time leading Sammy
