Strawberry Festival & KY Derby
The first Saturday in May we went to the Fort Mill Strawberry Festival. Last year Ethan rode the caterpillar ride, which happened to be his first festival ride ever. He definitely remembered the ride and was excited to do it again this year.
Daddy had to work during part of the festival,
and Allison was a HUGE help with the boys!

We tried to get Owen's face painted,
but as you can see, the little green line was all he allowed.
The first Saturday in May is also the KY Derby, so we celebrated again this year with derby pie, Nana's yummy shepherd's pie and croquet in the front yard. Here, Nana and Ethan are making horse ears for all the kids out of Trader Joe's paper bags.

We've had lots of rain around here lately
and Owen can't help but splash in the puddles
He loves helping me water the flowers
With all the rain outside, we tried to be creative with indoor activities.
Here, the boys are making little graham cracker sandwiches out of the leftover icing from Ethan's birthday cupcakes. These are amazing little frozen treats.
Our neighbors, Chloe & Bryce, have started letting Owen walk their dog when we go for walks together. He absolutely LOVES this! He thinks the dog belongs to him.

I LOVE watching these two love on each other.
